As a social worker and art educator, I sat with extended families in the tea room, struggled in court to obtain residence status, pored over files that brought foreign worlds very close to me, moderated the seamstresses’ collective through a transcultural fashion show at the Freiburg City Theatre and worked with the television channel SWR on the concept for the documentary film “Tailor-made – a fashion studio becomes a home”.
