Julia Hollweck
As an illustrator and graphic designer, Julia works in a shared office in two former abandoned factory buildings just outside Valencia. At our first meeting, we find some great different spots that offer good lighting conditions and suitable backgrounds. Inspired by the location and the meeting, the first ideas start to bubble up and we are right in the middle of developing the concept and their individual visual language. On the day of the shoot, it takes us a while to capture exactly the scenes in which Julia feels exactly reflected. The mood board always provides security and inspiration for new impulses to finally arrive at that moment in which everything is in a state of flux, which I love so much, in which ideas fly back and forth like ping-pong, in which there are no more limits to creativity and which is later reflected in the results through absolute authenticity, presence and energy. Pure magic!

WHAT MAKES A PHOTO SHOOT WITH ME SO SPECIAL?
With my special process, we create an atmosphere in which you feel 100% comfortable - not just on the day of the shoot, but even beforehand. We work on this together as a team. What you feel, you radiate!
HOW DOES THE PREPARATION WORK?
We start by clarifying together which aspects of your work and personality should be emphasised in the images. We discuss which emotions you want to arouse and which of your strengths are particularly well received by your target group. In this way, we create the foundation for authentic storytelling that makes you unique.
WHAT IS A MOODBOARD AND WHAT ROLE DOES IT PLAY?
Before the shoot, we create a moodboard that captures everything that makes you and your story special. It helps us to visually capture your uniqueness - be it your approach to solving a particular problem or your special skills - and set the creative framework.
HOW IS THE STYLING AND OUTFIT SELECTION HANDLED?
I help you to choose the outfits that suit you perfectly. I have developed a special method for this. Be curious! This way, you can relax on the day of the shoot and focus entirely on the essentials.
HOW DO I KEEP THE SHOOT FLEXIBLE FOR CREATIVE IDEAS AND UNEXPECTED ANGLES?
In addition to planning, we leave room for spontaneous ideas and new perspectives. We use the moodboard to realise your wishes, experiment and develop new approaches. Sometimes we swap roles - you look through the lens, I pose - for fresh perspectives
